From March 24th to April 11th, 2025 inclusive
During the 14-minute ascent, there is a wonderful view over the foothills of the Alps with Lake Chiemsee, the Upper Bavarian lake district and over the Priental with Hochenaschau Castle.
The gondolas go through every 30 seconds.

The same opening hours also apply to the SonnenAlm Kampenwand.

hiking tours:

Easy hike approx. 10 minutes from the mountain station to the Sonnenalm or to the Möslarnalm.
Easy hike from the Sonnenalm about 30 minutes to the Steinlingalm
Demanding hike approx. 45 minutes from the Steinlingalm to the summit (good shoes are essential):

Hike to the Kampenhöhe (mountain station): starting point at the Kampenwandbahn car park, approx. 2 1/2 hours.
via the bridle path to Kampenhöhe.

Hike from the Kampenhöhe approx. 4 hours via the Hofbauernalm to Hainbach and then back down the valley to the Kampenwand cable car

Hike from the Gschwend/Aigen hiking car park to the Steinlingalm and back via the Gorialmen

A particularly beautiful ski mountain. A cable car, two chairlifts. Easy and demanding ski terrain. Very well attended on weekends with good snow conditions. Cross-country ski trails up to Sachrang..
