Luge, bobsleigh and skeleton World Cup at Königssee
The world class of sledging meets
again at the
beginning of 2021
in the ice channel at Königssee
from January 16 to January
17, 2021 the Luge World Cup and from January
22 to 24, 2021 the Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cup in
the Deutsche Post Eisarena Königssee.
As
every year, the elite of tobogganing, bobsleigh and skeleton sports will meet
again this year for the World Cup races at Königssee. The artificial ice rink at
Königssee has been the venue for World Cup, European Championship and World
Championship races time and again. The local heroes Felix Loch and Natalie
Geisenberger in single, as well as in double, Tobis Wendl and Arlt are among the
best in tobogganing. The German athletes can also be found at the top of the
bobsleigh and skeleton. In this sport, German sled athletes have already won
medals in many international competitions and also at the Olympic Games.
Thousands of spectators will again support the athletes at the ice rink at
Königssee.
