Guided tour and tour of the cave castle and brewery tour through the Steiner brewery

The Steiner castle complex and the associated castle and brewery area is an extremely large
and interesting attraction in northern Chiemgau. It belongs to one
of the best preserved cave castles in Europe and can be
recognized from afar by the 50m high and 500m long Nagelfluhwand.
The unusual complex is said to have been the seat of the legendary "Heinz von Stein", the notorious knight from the dark Middle Ages. On a guided tour, you can be captivated by the terrifying myths about the robber baron and virgin robber.
The meeting point for guided tours is at the castle gate, entrance to the Schloss Stein school, yellow archway behind the Martini brewery inn.

The tour lasts approx. 1½ hours and includes a cave castle tour, brewery tour and a beverage tasting with image film in the internal brewery bar.
The minimum number of participants is 7 people (or 7 full-paying
guests).
A separate tour would be possible after consultation and a minimum
number of 15 participants

Programmablauf Heinz von Stein Erlebnisführung:
Die
Führung startet mit der Besichtigung der einzig begehbaren Höhlenburg
Deutschlands in der Sie die rauen Sitten des Mittelalters und den grausamen
Ritter Heinz von Stein kennenlernen.
Nach der Burganlage besuchen Sie die bekannte
Schlossbrauerei Stein mit ihrer 500 Jahre alten und traditionellen Braukunst.
Sie besichtigen die einzigartigen Lagerkeller
im Felsenkeller
unterhalb der Höhlenburg und erleben die handwerkliche Braukunst.
Nach der Führung gibt es eine
Verkostung der hauseigenen gekühlten Getränke (Biere und alkoholfreie
Getränke).
