Winterhike Hohenaschau - Hofalm - Laubenstein - Hohenaschau
The mountain pastures are not open in winter. Trip to the Frasdorfer Hütte, which is open daily in winter.
Distance and time: 700 meters altitude ascent and descent, 3½ hours (1/2 hour to the Frasdorfer Hütte)
Characteristics- At the western end of the valley at Aschau you can see a lanky back from the forest in the south. This is the Laubenstein, a cozy hiking destination. The name comes from its widely visible deciduous forest herd, which, however, only on its western side, seen from the Hofalm so right, particularly dense occurs. On the left, on its northeastern side, it is rocky, shriveled and steep. Above he is without trees.
Directions- Seebruck - Prien - Bernau - Aschau - Hohenaschau
Parking at Heurafflerweg
Almen: Unfortunately the alpine pastures do not open in winter (Almen am Laubenstein and Hofalm). A short detour to the Frasdorf hut would be possible.
