Winter hike Frasdorf Lederstube - Frasdorfer Hütte (Frase) - Riesenhütte - Frasdorf
The Frase is also open in winter from Wednesday to Sunday.
Path and time: to Frasdorfer Hütte (945 m) 350 m
elevation approx. 1.5 hrs.
or up to the Riesenhütte (1345 m) approx. 3½
hours.
Characteristics: Longer way on the forest road to the Berghof Zellboden, over a forest path to the winter parlors a beautiful pasture past the Schmiedalm (not managed). Passing the pasture past a long forest, you will again come to the forest road up to the Riesenhütte, the beginning of an alpine pasture below the Hochries.
The hike is well suited for families with children who will surely enjoy the playground of the Frasdorfer Hütte.

Almen: Unfortunately, the Riesenhütte has been closed for some
time.
