Summer hike Huben -Aschau - Sachrang - Huben

Distance and time: approx. 200 meters in altitude ascent and descent, 9 km - just under 3 hours.

Characteristic (well suited in spring and autumn):

Sachrang lies at the source of the Prien in the southwesternmost mountain angle of Chiemgau, where this opens to the Tyrol. The walk shows both the romantic valley framing and the picturesque village with its beautiful old farmhouses. The place was known nationwide by the television series "Der Müllner Peter von Sachrang”.

Approach:

Seebruck - Breitbrunn - Prien - Aschau - Huben, approx. 3 km before Sachrang.

Park:

Parking at the Gasthof-Pension-Café Geigelstein.
