Directions: Seebruck - Rimsting - Prien - Bernau - Aschau -
Hohenaschau
Parking: Parking lot at the Hohenaschau festival hall
Route and time:
870 meters of ascent and descent, about 5 ½
hours
Characteristics (also suitable in spring and
autumn):
At the western edge of the valley near Aschau, you can see a large ridge
rising out of the forest in the south. This is the Laubenstein, a pleasant
hiking destination. The name comes from its deciduous forest, which can be seen
from afar, but which is particularly dense only on its western side, i.e. on the
right when viewed from the Hofalm. On the left, on its north-eastern side, it is
rocky, craggy and steep. There are no trees at the top.
