Summer hike Hohenaschau - Hofalm - Laubenstein
with a magnificent view over the Chiemsee
Route and time: 700 meters of altitude in ascent and descent, 2½ hours
Characteristics (suitable also in spring and autumn) :
On the western side of the valley, near Aschau, you can see a decent back from the forest. This is the Laubenstein, a cozy hiking destination. The name derives from its broadly visible foliage, which, however, only appears on its western side, from the Hofalm on the right. To the left, on its northeastern side, it is rocky, crestfallen, and steep. Above it is without a tree.
