Hike to the Castrumer and Luginger lakes

Round trip from SeeHotel Wassermann about 11 km

You start with us at the SeeHotel Wassermann cross the Alzbrücke and turn left onto the Haushoferstraße. Here you go to the edge of the forest and then turn left, follow first the forest road and then the slightly ascending forest road to Stöffling. At the end of the village you will see on the left the Celtic village. But here you turn right onto the paved road, where shortly after a trail branches off to the left. Follow this trail for a longer time to the state road. Here it is a short distance next to the state road until you see a farmstead on the left, here you cross the road to the right, through Castrum and follow the forest road. At the Bertlhof keep to the right, go now to the Castrumer lake and past the Luginger lake to the hamlet forest. At the next street turn right and come through Thauernhausen. At the end of the village of Thauernhausen turn left and follow the road past Ising to the state road. Follow this road and follow an unpaved road, where you turn left until you turn right onto a hiking path back to Lake Chiemsee. Now it's back to Seebruck on the Chiemsee-circular route .
