Innovative, spirited and thrilling - the Immling Festival is an insider tip in the national and international festival scene. Idyllically situated on a hill near Lake Chiemsee, the fantastic event location combines culture and nature in the "most beautiful foyer in the world", as the Immling-Piazza is often called.

24 years ago, the opera singer Ludwig Baumann founded the festival and set new artistic accents after his career on the stages of the world in his Bavarian homeland. Today he leads the festival together with his wife, the conductor Cornelia von Kerssenbrock.

treff.punkt 2021 - this year's motto once again promises great emotions and gripping music.

Even with loving and detailed children's and youth programs, the Immling Festival has already gained an excellent reputation. The performances take place in the Festspielhaus, a modern, air-conditioned former riding hall. The magnificent Immlinger Piazza with a breathtaking view of the picturesque landscape of the Chiemgau is regularly the scene of open-air events.
